Client Success Manager Description

The Client Success Manager role is part of the iSocrates’ Client Success Team which is accountable for implementing, managing and delivering solutions that drive success against our Clients’ business KPIs.

The Client Success Manager, Demand Accounts, will be the main point of contact leading the company’s efforts for his/her assigned marketer and agency clients.  In this role, you will develop strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.

He/She will be responsible for all aspects of the pre- and post-digital sales process including media plan creation and execution of audience-based programmatic media programs, data-segment builds, campaign delivery against client objectives, and related upselling efforts.

You should have knowledge of programmatic campaign management (e.g., display, video, mobile, social, native) and experience with DSPs and exchange-based media buying as well as with DMPs.


  • Day-to-day point of contact with our key clients. Build, grow and maintain relationships, gaining deep understanding of their business and marketing needs.
  • Working with our Delivery team in India, monitor and optimize campaign metrics for delivery and KPIs; provide detailed reporting and recommendations throughout lifecycle of campaign
  • Address client queries effectively and in a timely manner
  • Generate post campaign presentations providing key insights on performance
  • Build audience segments in our DMP and develop insights from data sources to improve segmentation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with programmatic deals and keep clients informed.
  • Become an expert in using the DSPs and DMPs
  • Help develop best practices by creating training materials, sales materials and customer facing guides


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business or quantitative degree
  • At least 5 years of digital advertising media and marketing experience, required
  • Brand and Direct Response digital media strategy and campaign planning experience required
  • Knowledge of programmatic media systems and tools (e.g., ad servers, ad exchanges, platform providers, attribution, tagging, ad verification, measurement, brand safety, viewability)
  • Experience managing CPA, CPC, CPL and CPM marketing campaigns
  • Keen understanding of ad targeting and optimization methodologies
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Experience with data analysis including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborative team-player yet comfortable with independence
  • Experience with DSPs AppNexus and Google DBM, and Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly known as Salesforce DMP), preferred
  • Experience with SSPs, desirable
