Job Description

The Solutions Architect is responsible for leading the organization in engineering and development for new products, product enhancements and product redesign. Evaluates the potential and practicality of products in development and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position requires exercising independent judgment to perform the responsibilities described herein. The Solutions Architect is the first point of subject matter expertise for his/her assigned prospects and partners (formerly known as partners and vendors).  In this role, you will develop strong relationships with a variety of partners and internal and external resources, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.

He/She will be responsible for all aspects of the pre- and early stage partner onboarding processes including plan creation, audience-based programmatic program planning, data-segment and model builds, campaign delivery against partner objectives, and related upselling efforts.

You will be a valued member of our Consulting team, as well. This may require focused effort from time-to-time on specific partner needs. Some travel may be required on a case-by-case basis.

You should have expert knowledge of PII and non-PII data, various analytic and business intelligence tools, media and marketing data and modeling, programmatic campaign management (e.g., display, video, mobile, social, native, audio, advanced TV) and experience with yield management, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs and exchange-based media buying and selling.

The Solutions Architect will also be responsible for supporting internal Company business and product strategy and management and 3rd party partner certification programs, including training and marketing.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day point of contact with our key partners. Build, grow and maintain relationships, gaining deep understanding of their business and marketing needs
  • Working with our Delivery and Development teams in India, monitor and optimize metrics for delivery, reporting and analysis
  • Address internal and external partner technical queries effectively and in a timely manner
  • Generate partner memos and presentations providing recommendations as to methodologies, processes, and key insights
  • Help prepare RFI/RFPs and RFP/RFI responses in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Be the in-house, partner-facing expert in SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, CDPs, mix modeling, attribution modeling, propensity modeling, AI, blockchain
  • Help develop best practices by creating training materials, sales materials and partner-facing guides
  • Design new product solutions for business model and customer needs
  • Selects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing ones
  • Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring and managing projects such as preparation of schedule, status, delivery impact and risk, progress reports, records of expenditures, and staff conferences, in order to inform management of current status of each project
  • Negotiates contracts with technology vendors and consulting firms for technology resources and engineering or other applicable systems and solutions
  • Plans and formulates aspects of partner data analysis, engineering, process automation, product development and research proposals such as objective or purpose, applications that can be utilized from findings, costs, schedule, timeline, system requirements and human resource requirements
  • Strong command of application and web programming languages similar to PHP/Python, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, JQuery, Magento, JSON and XML
  • Expertise working in developing, managing, using and understanding APIs
  • Experience any of the MVC architecture and Bootstrap
  • Experience with digital advertising technologies, engineering, data and systems
  • Familiarity with web traffic analytics; experience tagging pages for Adobe, Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of content management systems like Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, etc.
  • Working knowledge of data management platforms like Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly known as Salesforce DMP), Adobe, Oracle, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence systems, Data Science Engineering and Distributed Computing
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of business and technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables;
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Process orientation; demonstrated ability to develop repeatable processes and improve existing processes in and out of technology and product development
  • Project management skills; will have demonstrated the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results;
  • Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged;

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business, engineering or quantitative degree
  • At least 10 years of product engineering and development; with minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Enterprise Architect role as well as digital advertising media and marketing experience, required
  • Brand and Direct Response digital media strategy and campaign planning experience required
  • Knowledge of programmatic media systems and tools (e.g., ad servers, ad exchanges, platform providers, attribution, tagging, ad verification, measurement, brand safety, viewability)
  • Extensive experience with DSPs and DMPs, required; CDPs preferred
  • Experience with SSPs, preferred
  • Brand and Direct Response digital media strategy and campaign planning experience required
  • Experience managing CPA, CPC, CPL and CPM marketing campaigns, required
  • Keen understanding of ad targeting and optimization methodologies
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Proficiency in data analysis including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborative team-player yet comfortable with independence
